elcome to the Region 4 website of the United Grand Lodge of NSW (New South Wales) & ACT (Australian Capital Territory). I thank you for taking your time to visit.

Freemasonry is the world’s largest fraternal organisation with a history spanning several hundreds of years and a traditional history extending from time immemorial.

Although this website focuses on the southern region of NSW including the ACT, much of the information contained herein is shared equally across Australia and indeed the world.

The principal aims of this website are to:

  1. promote Freemasonry within our regional and rural communities;
  2. encourage good men who are searching for more to consider our honourable Order;
  3. inform the community of the Order’s presence, history, and noble principles and tenets;
  4. provide a central and advanced technological hub for Region 4 that meets the expectations of our members and guests;
  5. provide timely and efficient electronic communication and collaboration services, 24/7, among the members of the Order; and
  6. assist and encourage members who may wish to visit Lodges in their own or neighbouring Districts by providing an on-demand one-click profile for each District with real time meeting schedule.

The information and opinions expressed on this site are not necessarily endorsed by the United Grand Lodge of NSW & ACT but are largely the result of the author’s 35 years of experience as a Freemason and deep passion for Freemasonry in general.
