Region 4
Region 4 is the largest in geographical area encompassing approximately 300,000 km2 or 36% of NSW & ACT. The Region extends across southern New South Wales skirting Sydney and Region 3 at its north east corner, and bound by the SA state border to the west, the Victoria state border to the south, and the Pacific ocean to the east. The Region is subdivided into 11 Districts which offer a total of 40 Lodges that meet in 33 Masonic Centres across the area.
Regional representatives hold the office of Regional Grand Counsellor (RGC) and the District representatives hold the office of District Grand Inspector of Workings (DGIW). The Grand Master appoints Grand Lodge officers to these important representational roles for a term of two years.
